VOLUNTEER/FUNDRAISING CORNER
VOLUNTEERING:
Volunteering is fundamental to the success of HRA. The time and energy our volunteers give to our ringette community is priceless and our association couldn't run without you!
HRA runs on a volunteer credit system - earn credits for volunteering!
Families can earn credits by:
- Timekeeping or Scorekeeping (FUN1 & FUN2 divisions earn credits for these tasks. U10 & Higher do not earn credit for these tasks)
- Donating Item to our Online Auction (one item is mandatory) - Credit earned for additional items or larger item
- Donating food for tournament luncheon (1 credit for soup; 1 credit for baking)
- Raffle Table or 50/50 shift at home tournament (1 credit per shift)
- Luncheon shift or set-up/clean-up at home tournament (1 credit per shift)
- Additional Volunteer Opportunities (approx. 1 credit per hour/shift)
HRA will be collecting a $150.00 volunteer deposit (post dated March 15th, 2025) from each family. If your volunteer requirements are fulfilled at the end of the season your deposit will not be processed.
FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR:
Fundraising Coordinators for 2024-2025 are: Mia Mcgonigal & Kim Bessette.
Mia and Kim will be organizing opportunities throughout the season to help each family meet their fundraising/volunteer requirements.
